Hey guys a friend of mine has all the Vagcom stuff and we plugged my passat 1.9tdi in last night. We got two fault codes:

    1. Intake manifold pressure was reading high.
    2. And it also said that the injection timing is out or retarded or the like.

We always thought the car was nippy but is it remapped, my friend assured me last night that it is 100% and i'm pretty sure it is too with them 2 faults.
Just wondering will it eventually do harm to the car?
Or is there any other problems that might rise there head?

Any answers are greatly appreciated :)

    Hey,
Think i might have had the same problems recently with my 2005 2.0L TDI Golf

I was getting an overboost fault recently, car would go into limp mode under heavy acceleration.

I had it looked at by an Indy specialist (Thanks to EPM for the reccommendation) and they sorted it pretty quickly. The fault code was P0234, turns out it was a issue with the solenoid on the waste gas control valve from the turbo. All sorted now and the car is perfect.

Do you have the actual fault codes that were showing up, might help narrow down the problem
