    Asking for someone else...

    So for someone newly diagnosed, what are they entitled to?

    Was working Full-time until this week and has a Mortgage.

    Chemist said Medical Card is a definite, is their a crazy wait for these still??

    Go down to local CWO with forms straight away they might be able to speed up the application.

    A friend of mine was diagnosed last year and got a medical card fairly fast as she made a request at the CWO office after being at the dole office.You can print the forms online now also which speeds it up.Best of luck with it and sorry about your friend.
