As above, I'll be moving from Ready To Go to Bill Pay, will I still get Free to Meteor for life, or is it a set amount of time? A friend told me it's only until the end of the year...?

Mods feel free to move if it's not in the appropriate sections, thanks!

I've being on a 12 month 35e smart contract for nearly a year, I rang about my upgrade and was told I would lose my free calls and texts to meteor.

I had a chat to the agent and he said it was best I left meteor and then ported back...

You don't need to do that, just tell them that you won't upgrade without it being kept on and they will do it for you (at least for another 12 months). They won't want to lose the chance of you signing up for another 12+ month contract.

What is it about the iPhone that causes Network executives to start taking the stupid pills? From the minute O2 got it and their dimwit marketing director called Apple users geeks, every single network has f**ked up their reputations with changes to data, calls, texts, tethering or whatever. Absolutely mind-boggling.
