Taking a significant pay cut for another job

I have recently applied for another job, which, after initial feedback, believe I have a good chance of securing.

The role would be pretty much exactly the same as I now have, but for roughly a 20% worse salary.

Now, of course, I would much prefer it if the salary was comparable, however, I would be happy to accept the lower offer. Although I am very happy with the position I currently have, neither my family or I are particularly happy living where we do. The new job would be in the UK and I believe that our quality of life would be much better, although the cost of living would still be roughly the same.

Do you think that a future employer would be suspicious that I would be happy to take a significant pay cut?

Do you think that the fact that I am happy to take a pay cut in any way reflects badly on me, professionally?
