Hi lads I've found a scope and a dealer willing to export it from us to me here in Ireland.

It's used but the dealer is offering a full warranty and is known for being good to deal with.

since its second hand and has faint ring marks on the tube would I have to pay duty on it???

If indeed it is from outside the EU...... I believe the seller must put some sort of declaration sticker on the packaging stating the value and nature of the goods and you pay the VAT on that. Perhaps enclosing the sales invoice backs this up.

    All the best
