    Hi can anyone tell me whats the best free mixing program for a laptop please?
    ive tried mixxx but my laptop keeps crashing.

    If Mixxx crashes your off to a bad start to be honest. All DJ programs need good machines to run. Dual Core and 2GB of RAM would really be the base spec needed.

    I presume your using a NetBook of some description?

    hi folks im just getting into laptop djing i have used technics for along time but im fed up looking for vinyl. anyways ive downloaded virtual dj and i like it.
    just wondering is the free version much different to the basic pro package keep in mind im just geting my bearings so no video djing or anything tricky yet.

    oh my laptop is a hp pavillion dv2000 with 2gb ram. running vista.
