Need help upgrading for BF3

hi guys Im Andy and Im new to pc gaming and pc building.
I was going to build my own pc as I was researching for like a year but when a pc came up on adverts I had to get it as it was a steal
this is the Spec 's
Q9400 @ 2.66 ghz
4gb ddr2 ram 800mhz
500gb wd caviar black hdd
600watt psu (cheapo)
9600gt 512mb gddr5
and Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Rev. 2.0 Motherboard
I want to upgrade some parts like Psu,Gpu as i want to play bf3 at high as possible settings.I Dont want to touch Cpu but can change motherboard if needed please help as the parts i need are Psu Gpu Cpu cooler and maybe motherboard Il be getting these parts in a months time.and just want ur opinions in what to get and Overclocking tips
i got this pc for a swap for a Xbox so i think i got a good deal
