Voyager to Exit Solar System by the end of 2012?

    Pretty amazing, this almost stone-age spacecraft going into intersellar space, I remember the first images coming in from these craft 1&2, which changed the way we looked at our planetary system, now to be on the verge of leaving our solar system behind, and still working.

    The Voyager's were and still are fantastic spacecraft. They launched in 1977 when I was 10 and I still remember the excitement of that time. We were going to the stars:)

    it amazes me how these 2 crafts are exiting our solar system, can any tell me what instruments are sending info back at this stage?

    Its an amazing piece of engineering although i dont agree that they put Chuck Berry music on it as part of a representation of human music:p.In fact could that be why nobody has made contact with us after listening to the muscial part of the probe???:).
