    Are these bikes any good?

They would be very popular ok, but postage costs is very stiff, and two to three weeks wait time, but i'm told you can p=organise your own shipping with shiply.com.

You do realise they're only frames?

The postage frame (and that's what you're linking too) is much more reasonable than for full bikes. I got a cheap Ribble alu TT frame posted for £15 I think which is ok. Postage on full bikes is nearly prohibitive.

Their carbon frames are all understood to be chinese or taiwanese generic productions that Ribble then paint and decal themselves. They get good reviews and plenty of other european companies do the same (plant-x and ritte for example) so there's nothing wrong or suspect in that practice per se.

I quite like some of the Ribble Frames actually, but having discussed it with a couple of people, the fact that they're called Ribble, and not some really Euro sounding names makes them less attractive. I think they should do a name swap to Cancellarra. I'd ride a Cancellara bike.
