    What do you want?

For me Batt life and matte screen were most important

Try www.saveonlaptops.co.uk (god I'm turning into a feckin ad for them now)

click on clearance - the "open box" models are fine, never anything wrong with them, someone just returned them bc it was wrong colour or whatever

The best one is prob this
    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/GRADE_A_-_ASUS_Eee_PC_1001PX_1081157.html

Has windows XP if you can't stand win 7 starter

    otherwise any of the others

Or check amazon.co.uk emachine 159 sterling

    decent user reviews

Power City have Samsung N150's for e250.

Up to a 10 Hour battery life with 250 gb Hard drive and Windows 7. Couldn't beat this offer.

Anything under e200 will more than likely be old stock possibly Windows XP, 150 GB HDD, and shorter battery life.

This one on saveonlaptops looks good:

It's not available yet, but it's fairly future proof with usb3, bluetooth 3 and a dual core Atom

eMachines are pretty much the worst of the worst. Go with an MSI Wind, I've never seen one go faulty.

Was in Currys/PC World (Blanch), and seen an e-machines netbook for €179, 1GB Ram, 250GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Starter, but only 3 cell battery or there was an acer one, but was the exact same, but just differnet name for €199 (the shape and markings on both were both the exact same) only extra was it was duel core. But that is the cheapest you are going to get, that I have seen...... hope this helps

Yeah, PC World have the Aspire 522 with C-50 Dual Core with 1080p playback capable HD6250 for 199 which is an excellent price. Bought one myself.
