So, it's that time of the year again and I'm looking for my first job.

Is there a good chance of getting work in the current economic climate?

Does anyone have a good template or any advice on making a CV?

Namlub is somewhat right, but there's always places hiring on temporary contracts try www.fas.ie or www.jobs.ie to see if you can find anything. And don't make your CV too long...people will get bored.

    I am sixteen.

I have something small sorted anyway - an accounting job for some company. That will be handy as it will only be a few hours a week and I can do it in my spare time... and I'm good at accounting. :)

Unless you know someone personally who would take you on the answer is no, unfortunately. Employers aren't very keen on taking on young people, they only want people who have experience .
