I was having a little joke with a guy I work with He kept on slagging my car ''bring it to the breakers'' and making other comments so the other night I put signs on his car saying ''free to take away'' and we had a good laugh.. Then he and another work mate grabbed me and tied me up with cableties (they released me after 5 mins and I thought it was pretty funny) so then I lowered his tyres thinking it would be funny and he rang me in a temper wondering who had done it. I was so shocked by his reaction that I lied and told him it wasnt me even though I was seen by someone..

Anyone now I have gotten the repuation as a liar and today somthing happened and he rang me to basically interegate me and even at that he wasnt satified and wanted to see me in person to ask me to my face..

Anyway, Do you think I can be trusted again in time or do you think it's a bit late and I would never be trusted by them again?

We cant second guess what he will think. Lies are memorable and I would personally have an issue with it.. You took it to the extreme as its a lot of work to pump up tires again. If he needs to get it towed you should offer to pay.

The Joke has gone to far, "tied up in cable ties" is wrong, as is interfering with another persons car possibly causing a cost to repair the car or a safety issue.

You could get into trouble in work and possibly lose your job if this behaviour is to continue.

Nobody has the right to interegate you weather in private or in front of an audience.

Be strong and positive in front of this person and if asked questions advise this person or group "this is not a quiz and I d'ont have to answer your questions."

It looks like your friend is great at dishing it out but can't take it.
The joke has gone to far and he is a sore loser. Letting down all the tyres was a bit mean but admit it and stand your ground.

suggest calling it quits and move on.

I only lowered the left side mate. and I even put them in my car and brought them to the petrol station and pumped them back up for him and I even gave him a lift to and from work that day..
