    hi lads just aquired a set of wilson deep red irons as a first set of clubs and obviously i need a driver to accompany them .. now i have a nasty hook (lessons booked) so im looking for something forgiving but something that will keep me happy for a few years yet .. so what would ye recommend??

    A 3 wood. Much easier to hit and you can pick up a driver later when you have developed a bit of a swing.

    id agree get yourself a decent 3 wood.. you could pick up a ping g5 for about 60 quid
