Just wondering what the timetable was like. I looked it up on the law soc website but it's quite confusing. I am hoping to go this Sept but I will have to organise childcare for my three young children. As I'm paying my own fees and not being paid whilst on ppc1 I need to keep the childcare costs to a min.

Would you have very short days, are there long gaps between classes, would you have full days off, what sort of hols are there?

Also I'm trying to get my hands on the books from ppc1, do people sell them/ keep them or bin then?

    Many thanks.

Your hours will be all over the place. Some days finished at 12, some days at 3. You can request early or late stream so that you start around 9 or 10 on the early and 11 generally on the late. Often there are days when you'll have a 2 or 3 hour break between classes but the beauty of that is that the lectures are not compulsory.

All of the necessary materials will be supplied at the beginning of the course. Manuals are generally kept as they're handy reference materials for practise.

I presume you are aware that you can seek grants from your local authority for a student grant for the PPC courses.
