HELP: Wexford Motorbike Centre not finishing job!

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble getting a motorbike fixed with Wexford Motorbike Centre. It is a Suzuki TL1000S, the shop has the bike about
3 months. I told him at the start that there was no hurry fixing it but I didnt think it would take this long, imagined a month at most! Rang the shop 4 weeks ago and said I needed it as was about to insure it, they said no problem it'd be ready that Tuesday. I have paid for the bike as I was told it was fixed.

3 weeks on and its still not done, I have rang the shop nearly everyday only to be told it'll be fixed "today or shortly" and that they would ring me and let me know. They never ring back, I'm loosing patience now.

Can anyone advise me how to deal with this properly? I am loosing money on insurance as it has to be insured a certain amount of time before I can freeze it, they never follow up phone calls and when I call into the shop its all smiles and they say their doing the bike they haven't forgot it! Obviously there in no hurry, very frustrating as I have already paid so I cant take my business elsewhere!

    Thanks!

Call in to them and tell them you want to see the progress that's been made to date. If they haven't done anything to it so far ask for your money and bike back and take your business elsewhere.

That's the problem tho, he's done some of the work and replaced parts that don't suit the bike, so all he has to do is get ones that do suit and put them in! Half the work is done!

Might i suggest that you ask the mod's to move your thread to the motorbike section here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=577

The folks there might be able to help more with your situation.

The way to get a move is to click the report post button at the bottom of your first post and in the box ask a mod to move it.
