HDT8520/05 Philips PVR problems

    Has anyone used a Philips HDT8520/05 DVB-T PVR. I got a HDT8520/05 yesterday when I connected it up last night a red LED on left and a HD blue plus top perspex lit up also could hear HDD whirr.it seems to be in stanby up but would not go into use or setup mode. Tried changing batteries in remote still no go . Used buttons on box no go, rebooted still did not work.I have set up at least 4 STBs in last year so I am pretty good at Instalations.
