Their contracts run out at the end of the season.

Great banner in the crowd today: "Hammett's got Thrush and he blames Hore" took the cameraman a couple of seconds to work it out before quickly moving on.

Hore looks likely to sign for the Chiefs while Nonu is eyeing a move overseas.

i think that hammet is trying to create a new culture in the hurricanes.

the best way to do that is to get rid of a few players. you run the risk of alienating the fans but if it works and next season they are competing at the top of the table as opposed to the bottom it will be a case of nonu who?

nonu's form at the start of the season was poor and he got a silly yellow and red card too. i believe this is hammets first season in charge so he would have expected more from a senior player like nonu.

According to the indo Nonu is being linked to Munster.

And that article also mentioned an Irish provence signing up a well-known alcoholic.

Would cost massive money and he comes across as a prima donna with discipline issues. If he had his head right he would be excellent but there's a strong danger that he would show up in the NH and just pick up a pay cheque. With that said, as far as I can see, the article merely talks about how Nonu could be an asset to Munster; it doesn't actually link him with a move there at all. With the salary he would command, I think France and England would be more likely destinations.

As for the alcoholic part, Neil Francis wrote the article. Smokes, mirrors and chinese whispers are his main currency. He has made many claims in his articles over the years which he has failed to back up in any way.

I assumed Francis was talking about himself

You could take a decent enough guess at who Franno is talking about, not sure if it would be against the rules to post a name though?

And Franno has always been self deprecating, he knows he was a lazy ****e when he played, doesn't pretend otherwise.

Openly referred to on MF. He's wasn't a high profile player at the time.

He was known as a "ruck inspector".Your elderly aunt would be more aggressive at a ruck.
