I actually thought this was gonna be a wind up with a pic of a pile of crap:o

I have heard so many good things about the camera, never used so I would be interested to hear if anyone here agrees with this.

Don't know how good it is personally. I know a few who have them and rate them highly but this guy seems to have a serious chip on his shoulder.

I don't have time to read the article in work but I got my MK II this time last week. It's amazing. I'm constantly blown away by the quality it produces. Then again I guess it comes down to the lenses you use also. I bought it to gain the same kind of quality I get on film and I have to say I find it hard to notice the difference sometimes. Its great in low light as well.

    Two recent shots

The af on the 5d mk1-2 does suck and blow, thats why I shoot weddings with a 1dmk3 and a 5dmk1. Its deliberate by Canon to direct pros to the 1 series bodies but in comparision with Nikon the af system is very old on the 5dmk2. He does makes some good points that I made also with Canon reps of why they have such a high iso capability but such an old af system
