Just had a guy at work here saying hes getting brand new Bridgestone tyres for €30 each. I know hes probably either getting lied to, or doesnt know a thing about tyres. What do you guys think?

Unless Bridgestone make tyres for toy cars he is not getting them for 30 quid a corner.

When i saw the title of the thread i thought i was on the cycling forum, and thought it was interesting!

30 quid for any tyre is dodgey imo. Especially if they are claiming they're brand named and new.

    "From the North"

So they're either stolen or fake.

Why is that so hard to believe? I paid £29 for my Toyo T1-R at the time they were pretty close to 30 euro, great budget performance tyre which have lasted alot of normal driving a track day and a trip to the Nurburgring.

If they are a common size i cant see why not, i usually use 195/55/15 but dropping down to a 50 profile i make alot more savings when it comes to tyres

How long ago was that though? Tyre prices have went way up in the last few years

roughly one year ago, they havent changed much in price either and are allways on special, they are just over £30 as we speak only difference is the exchange rate isnt great at the minute. im just saying that 30 euro a tyre isnt totally unbelievable, hopefully they arent un-E marked tyres that a shop is trying to get rid of

    agree.

i passed nct just before june 1st and tyres were good for it. E marked an all.

you can get 30eu tyres, well a bit more now, but still its doable.

i dont understand you all people... whats so shocking about 30eu tyres?! grtting them on your wheels is a tricky part, garages dont like putting on someones tyres which is not sold in theyr garage...

Bridgestones for my old car were about €30 :)

    But that was as a 135/80 R13...

For bridgstones, officially imported into europe by Bridgestone, you won't get any modern size for €30.
