20mm thick wall tiles

We bought tiles for our bathroom recently and they are 20mm thick marble tiles. I have been told that these are very thick for wall tiles and that we may not be able to get the trim big enough for them. I am calling to the tile shop over the weekend to find out but I'm just worried now and was wondering if anyone can enlighten me on this issue please? I love the tiles and surely the tile shop would not have sold us tiles that aren't suitable!

could be very hard to find 20mm if its only for around a window could they be mitred on a wet saw. or you could get brass or aluminium cover profiles to stick on to the corners images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRSKJXlIesVlcNLUX_5YYb-SaPrVK3q5tbllCSOMCogyfTaBRQYAA

Are these tiles going on exterior walls, as 20mm tiles would be too heavy to go onto interior bathroom walls, it exceeds max weight recommended...
