Not sure if this is the best place to post this or not, Please move it if it would more appropriate elsewhere.

My elderly mother in law have a remote controlled bed and there is a problem with the motor mechanism. The lower section does not move up or down although the motor can be heard working. Its about 8 years old. Does anyone know if there is any company do repairs to these beds or could supply a new motor mechanism.
I dont know where this was bought and she is not in a position to tell me.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You'll probably get the info you need from your local health centre. if the Public Health nurse calls to your mother-in-law, she can refer the problem with the bed to the local primary care occupational therapist, and they should be able to sort it out for you.
    Best of luck.

    Hey there

While not exactly what the forum is for, there won't really be anywhere else on boards.ie that would be more suitable. :)

I'd know quite a bit about these sort of things, so if you can find out the manufacturer and the model number, I should be able to point you in the right direction.

    Cheers
