as a 28 year old has just who has finally finished with college got a job i'm starting to think its time to sort out the teeth as my bite seems to be out of line, its primarily the top four teeth that need alignment due to the overcrowding,

I’m wondering how much it would cost,
would I need braces is so for how long
is it best to go north to safe money (based in naas so not too much of a trek)

any advice / past experiences would be greatly appreciated

Op I had braces on for a few months last year i think 6 in total.
However my OH had them on for about 3 years and were both 29. She only got hers off earlier in the year.

the specifics you'll need to get from an orthodontist but what i would say and my OH would say is that we regretted not getting our teeth sorted sooner. You will be amazed at the confident even a small change will give you.

    Best of luck!

    Hi there

it is hard to answer your questions without seeing you first. Go to your dentist and ask about treatment or visit and orthodontist www.orthodontics.ie. Then you will get all the options. Remember you will need about 15-20 appts start to finish so take that into account in terms of travel and time off work. Prices here are similar to the north for specialist treatment.

You wont regret the braces, good luck

Hi OP, no idea about cost im afraid, as every case is different. But once you talk it over with your orthodontist he will be able to give you an estimate after a consultation.

Fair play to you for taking the step, you wont regret it, its well worth doing. I was about 26 when I got mine done, best thing I ever did, absolutely no regrets whatsoever. :)

Sure you'll pay a little less up north but factor in your diesel/ petrol, days leasve off work for a visit a month for 18 months plus, unforeseen visits when a bracket gets knocked off... Go local is my advice, pm sent op
    Good luck,
    OS
