Failing first year Law

    Does anyone know what the failure rate for first year law is like in the summer exams?

    I think its reasonably low. They usually grant a lot of leeway in first year. You can get away with doing one subject badly as long as you do well in others due to "the pass by compensation". There is always August anyway if everything does go terribly wrong! Im sure you did much better than you think though!

    The law results are already out though so I think the OP may have not got on so well :P

    half right :) a friend of mine failed and is kinda down on himself. I thought if the failure rate was pretty high he wouldn't feel so bad...

    ah ok sorry my bad!! : S On the plus side first year is the best time to fail, itll scare you into studying your ass off every other year! Im sure they will be grand in the repeats! Tell them to use the exam papers online, so they get used to the type of qs being asked and maybe spot some trends! Maybe email the lecturers themselves for some pointers/how to improve etc?
