I had a problem with my charger recently and found that they were expensive at €50. However a friend advise that a car battery charger would work fine and he even got me one at a car boot sale for €5. Working fine for about the last three months. I just charge it overnight after a round and then disconnect the following morning.

Yeah Kojak, europower in finglas are looking for 60€ for a replacement:eek: Found one on Ebay ( stateside ) for 30 dollars shipped ( exact match of mine ) so just sent seller a mail with a few questions. Would the car battery charger have any negative effects ?

On another note, what do people do as a general rule for charging their batteries ? Do you leave it plugged in continuously or just charge overnight after each game ?

I don't i'm afraid. i can check over the weekend if you want though.

i leave mine plugged in all the time. Don't leave it on the ground when charging either.
After the "snow" break i noticed my battery was going dead after 16 holes so i chaged it fully, played a round then came home and lifted the trolley off the ground and turned it on (i greased the axels as well) and flattened it fully. Its lasting 18 holes no problem now which is great for a 2 year old battery.
