From reading different places People tend to say the TM Tracer is the best,
and others cant do Auto etc etc.

Not sure though if those opinions are based on the TM tracer unit being around a few years so other brands may not have been as good or available "at the time" or if its still currently peoples opinions that its better than the rest.
(There is a new and old version of the TM one but Its out of stock in a lot of the online stores I have looked at)

I was going to buy the Madbull Gemtech one a week or two ago from firesupport.co.uk
but it was over a hundred UKP which I thought was pretty expensive for what it was. Looking at reviews of this its seems pretty good.

I would buy the Gemtech if I had the choice between the two, as they have a bling bling flashy version in an attempt
to simulate muzzle flash that I think is nifty!

There is also M4 and AK style Tracer Mags G&P I think is the brand.
They are pure Sh1te. I opened my one yesterday to find the 3 batteries in it
had all leaked and corroded everything. They only have a small LED that lights up
the BB's as they pass from the mag lip.

There is also an M4 style hopup unit kit you can buy with a built in Tracer but this means
your limited to sticking into one gun.

Since I needed to purchase two Tracer units recently no way was I paying the Price of an AEG for just two silencers!! so I went and bought one of these:

    http://www.seairsoft.net/product_details.php?id=1204&sub=49&subcat=Coming%20Soon.

These are listed as Begadi but when you open the insides up you will find
they are made by "Big Dragon" (which I think are only around 35USD on some Hong Kong stores)

Anyway I bought two. They work great!! They work on Auto or bursts without any issues. Great fun.
Might be a cheaper alternative if stuck for cash and for a piece of Kit where it may not be used all of the time.

Thanks Bullets been looking at the one in SEAirsoft for awhile now and didnt know whether to try it out or not. As I've heard the TM one is the only that really works properly. But now I shall put one on my next order from SEAirsoft.

I've one of the dragon ones and they work fine. An issue with Silencers is that to work properly your inner barrel needs to be no longer than the end of the threads where you are screwing it on. If it protruded past the end of the threads, it would still fit but the sensor which sees the bb pass by would see the barrel only and not the bb.

The sensor is just inside the thread end. Likewise if your barrel is very short, it can be a problem as the bb might glance off the inner barrel of the silencer.
