i picked up AC/DC's new live bluray 'Live at River Plate' for 13.99 in HMV, great price

I just got the Lord of the Rings Blu Ray trilogy for 28 too, cheaper online I know but still very reasonable at that price.
They had Avatar for €22 (not in the 2 for €22) but you get 1 from a small selection free.

The normal 2 for €22 was seemed to have a very decent selection, Scott Pilgrim, Sean of the dead, Hangover. etc. etc.

Hey, quit using all capitals; leave some for the rest of us! :P

Yeah, Avatar is pretty awesome on Blu-ray on a big TV. I love watching it on my 46" LCD TV and just sitting in awe of some of the action sequences. I haven't seen it in 3D yet, but I'd rather wait to watch sans-glasses.

I was in HMV a few times over the last few weeks and, besides the crap Blu-ray players they keep showcasing, they do have some good Blu-ray offers if you're looking for boxsets or 2 for €22. I keep seeing Blu-ray Steelbooks and getting the urge to buy them cause they look and feel so cool. I know, I know, it's just a case, but imagine if all your Blu-ray movies were Steelbooks; one can only hope and dream...!

Yes, but they're not cheap. Worth every penny though.

I remember seeing Salt and The Green Hornet but the few others I saw I don't remember. I know they get released in the German market all the time, so I was actually surprised to see as many as I did in HMV.

was collecting them for a while, once you get past what's in the store, and start ordering online, they start arriving dented, which kills their value, and they turn into the biggest headache ever

better off staying away from steelbooks, not cool at all.

just having a laugh, you threw out your system first, that wasn't bragging? there will always be someone around with a better system

seriously, pick up tron legacy if you enjoyed Avatar. the soundtrack alone makes muck of avatar.

debatable movie, stellar AV. it's in the deal in HMV as well

Might pick up the two Trons in the OP I listen above. Should get the Batman Anthology aswell, apparently the picture quality in those is supposed to be such an improvement. Get Back to the Future trilogoy on Blu-ray that looks amazing its full screen for the whole duration and considering they were made in the 1980's. By watching them on Blu-ray you would think they were produced recently
