I have a colour brochure for my company and need to get it reproduced, any firm I have approached are looking to print a minimum of 1,000, but I do not have the money for this at present.
Can anyone advise of a scanner which I could purchase that could copy my brochure and I could print it off as I need them,
    Thank you

There will be paper and print quality issues, which means you'll end up with a poor looking copy of your brochure.

If you're insisting on going down this route, i would suggest you get in contact with whoever designed the brochure and ask them for the template file and print that.

Thanks gone drinking, I did get a sample from a firm which was quite good but again there only interested in 1,000's,I the Original printer and thought he would have a disc and could just print off as many as needed, but he claims as it was so long ago (Five Years) he doesn't and again was only interested in talking telephone numbers

Buying a scanner wouldn't really be worth it in the long run. Is this brochure a fold out style or has it multiple pages? The price difference between getting 1,000 printed and 500 is usually very small when it comes to quotes from printers. How many are you hoping to get done initially?

There are lots of places online that will do smaller runs i.e. vista print. You should be able to get 150 or so done at a reasonable price.
