Well NZ has been affected the last few days by volcanic ash from Chile's volcano. Today was the first day that most commercial flights were cancelled so a historic Souther Airways DC3 was pressed into limited service to fly some people between Christchurch and Wellington at a level far below the ash cloud. Great to see and hear such a historic bird up in the air!
