    You may have noticed that a few threads started over on the main forum are being moved into here. Redirects are not being left either. This is all in line with the feedback we received earlier in the year which resulted in the forum and sub-forums being redefined. The idea is to make the main forum more about the image itself and to give an alternate home to the gear and processing threads.

    So as a rough guide if your thread is about a photograph or the art of photography then it should be in the main forum. If, on the other hand, it concerns the mechanics of taking that image or methods to process it then it should be in here.

    The reason for the lack of redirects is that it would defeat the purpose to free up the main forum only to clutter it with loads of redirect posts.

    Hopefully this will explain things and help cut down on the number of thread moves we are currently making.
