    Saleproof machines.

I think there's a decent chunk of dollar off the list price of new ones, and they still aren't selling.

In saying that, don't think Uncle Bill is an idiot - have little doubt that Stevie Rayner and the boys have these as their company cars to try and get some use out of them!

I'd be interested in one but they are 23k even for an 09 one.

A normal laguna is far cheaper than that.

    The prices seem mad

    I'd be tempted tbh...With a discount mind...

When you compare them to a Pug 407 coupe they begin to look very overpriced. Maybe I'm missing something

In fairness, the Coupe can't be compared to the normal hatch. It's a different machine altogether!

The Pug Coupe was a barge of a car. It's allergic to corners, not that quick, and all round is probably beaten by a Hyundai Coupe.

I think that the fact there are a small amount of the Laguna Coupe's on the market, coupled with the fact that they are relatively fresh, a decent looking car, and in a market pretty much to themselves at the minute means Dr. Bill feels they're worth a few quid.

Not much point in having a market to yourself when you aren't selling them

€23k is a fair wedge of cash to sink into a 2 year old Laguna irrespective of how many doors it has.

Maybe they are selling them. Maybe he's getting a stupid amount of stock from the UK and that's why there's always one or two up for sale.

Who knows what he's doing, but he's not doing it to lose money, thats for sure.

Personally I think they're a lovely looking motor, if they were cheaper I'd consider one, but I wouldnt spend that kind of wedge.

    Amen to that.

....and that's where the problem lies.

If it wasn't called Laguna then it might have had some chance of selling. That name is tainted.

I forgot about those. Pretty slick looking to be fair. Id say there would be thousands to be got off that price though.

    The 407 bit;)

For about 5-6k less that would make a lot of sense to a lot of people IMO.
