Anywhere sell individual bass / guitar strings?

Pikey question, but bought a new set of Ernie Ball bass strings today and snapped the f**king E string by winding it too tight. Does anywhere in Dublin sell individual strings perchance? Would save me shelling another €25

Most shops I've asked will sell single strings. I've even seen a guy open a fresh pack and sell the single string I needed.

They usually have a load of single spare strings in a nice container at the desk.. just ask for a single spare of whatever string and gauge

I've a drawer full of single strings here at home, I usually just ask for a few spare high e's when I get a set of strings

Just while were on this topic, the bar at the molly malone statute and the end of the ha'penny bridge, it used to be called pravda, has a vending machine with guitar and bass strings in it! Very cool!

Yeah a few places are getting those in now, I read about another venue somewhere else that sells strings, picks and other stuff from a vending machine, it's pretty cool if you've got a last minute emergency.
