Wanted: Giant Defy XL

Hi,

I am looking to buy a Giant Defy road bike. I have a defy 4 (2010) but it is a size large and I am 6"4' so i need a size XL. My price range would be around €400-500 or if anybody would be interested a swap if it suited.

Hi Bennymac. Are u still looking to buy/swap. I have a little used Defy III (with a Defy 2.5 XL Frame) purchased at end 2010. I'm 5'11" and feel it might be a tad too big for me.

Hi Ronan, if things dont work out with bennymac I have a trek 1.2 size 58 which would suit your size. Let me know if you are interested in swap.

Hi nophd08. My bike is a 2010 Defy 3, purchased in Oct/Nov 2010. The original frame was damaged in transit en-route to dealer and was replaced by Giant with '09 Defy 2.5 Frame (which has a better spec). Hence, i haggled good deal for cash in shop and i think i still have the receipt (by reputable dealer). Its listed on the receipt as a 'Defy 3 rebuild'.

This is essentially what it looks like....but with the Defy 3 2010 spec.

Its had little use and no spills.

Would consider swap in principal.

I bought it secondhand a few weeks ago for 2 reasons,
1, To get back on the road asap after an accident with a car destroyed my previous bike,
2, I wanted to try a smaller frame,
After a few long spins it feels a tad small, I'm 6'3".
Bike is perfect, cassette and gears are faultless as are brakes, only faults are the bar tape is white and a bit dirty for my liking but easily changed and a few scuff marks on frame.
Previous owner told me he bought it early 2010.
I can probably post pic if you like (have'nt posted pics before so not sure)
I'm interested in swap.

Same spec bikes, only trek is a double chainset. Mavic wheels are not included, or the look pedals. Original wheels (bontrager) are in good shape with ok tyres. Photo's are not the best, and trying to upload them...
