    Evening lads,

Just looking for a few opinions on the merceedes clk 320. My ol' fella is pretty close to buying one.
Its a '01, latter of the mk1 models I think, got about 75k on the clock.

He knows the 3.2 petrol engine will be hefty on juice but it doesn't seem to bother him.

Anyone any experience with these, good or bad?

I like them, but the road tax would have me looking for a 430. Might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb and all that.

I must admit, I had a double take on a black CLK recently, the thing was a minter. Nice car.

i owned clk200 and it was awesome car, i was not mature enought for it thought. great looking, comfortable cruiser. can be taken for pennies these days.

why he wants clk320? he does realise, that he will pay same amount of money for tax each year as car will cost him.

clk200 kompressor or clk230 compressor would be better bang for the money.
