    And the roads on both are still in a disgraceful condition.:rolleyes:

    I know that's not the reason either was closed but you'd think when the opportunity was there they would have at least tried to do something with them.

    Well Cement Rd seems fine to me. Haven't been up Poorhouse Lane yet.

    It is the road which connects the north road with the top of the slane road.
    It's got Drogheda hire on the top and aldi at the bottom.
    They were doing some serious surface replacement which had the road closed off completely. I guess it's better than leaving one side open and the job taking twice as long.

    At least on Poorhouse Lane they used the opportunity to widen it. Before this it was almost impossible for two cars to pass
