Ok, you have a choice of different e-mail programs. I suggest g-mail because of some websites requiring a google account.

Go to google, and click the "gmail" tab at the top. Then click on "Create an account" at the right hand-side of the page.

    Fill out the form:
    (I'll give you an example)
    First Name: John
    Last Name: Smith
Desired login name: johnsmith123 (@gmail.com) (Make sure no one else has the same one by clickling "check availability".)
    Choose password: whateveryouwant123
    Re-enter password: whateveryouwant123
Security question: What is the name...friend?
    Answer: Jane Doe
Recovery e-mail: friendsemail@friend.com (not required I think, but a good idea nonetheless.
    Location: Ireland
    Word Verification: whateveritsays inweirdlettering

Then click on accept and I think that's you done.

Remember your login name and password!
