Red marks left after spots

When I get a spot it takes about a week and a half to die down but then I am left with red marks where the spot was which don't go away. At the minute I have three of these marks on my chin alone. It's really annoying and doesn't look great. I don't know what to put on them or use to get rid of them, any ideas? thanks

I used to find that contact lense solution or salt water used to take the redness out of spots.....I never really get spots and I've not used it in ages but it's worth a try!

I'm curious about this too. I haven't had active breakouts for a few weeks but still have a collection of little red bumps on my forehead and chin. When I asked at the Clinique counter when I was topping up on skincare she said that my skin wasn't blemished enough to warrant getting the anti-blemish products.

I use a spot corrector thing when the breakouts are active and it really brings down the redness and helps them heal quicker but still left with the red/pinkinsh spots after. Getting married in a few weeks so I'd love to have clear skin!!

Would a face mask or scrub help I wonder? Any recommendations?

I have that as well. I had acne up until a few years ago and still get a few spots but i feel that I have to wear make up all the time as my skin tone is so uneven and I have loads of red marks from spots gone years. I have never found anything that helps. I was told a good exfoliator would help even out my skin tone but they normally make me break out. though i was told thats cos i am not using a good one
