    Hi

I was wondering about the question. Would you like to see the price listed on the photographer's website? Some dont display and others do. What is the reason?

I def would! I don't want to waste my time if someone is outside my budget! You want to know what your paying for too. I like it the photographer is honest about the high res/low res discs and the coffee table book. Makes it easier to make a decision!

Should be up on them all but I have seen a lot with contact me so I can give a personal quote on your special day, it shouldnt be that hard to give a price considering location and time required and if you need an album or not.

I definitely would also! One thing that really annoyed me when trying to book a photographer was the fact that so many had no indications of prices on their website and you had to ring or email for a quote. Generally most of the ones I emailed were ridiculously expensive, so it would make me wonder do some not put the prices up because they know they are so high?

I list my pricing excluding the albums and list exactly what your getting for the price.

The reason I don't include Albums in my pricing is that there is so many variable in the cost of albums. I like to let the couple make up their own mind if they want an album or not

Thanks for the responses...interesting...there are so many websites that do not show prices and that do...it's hard to know what is best...do photographers get booked when they do show prices or not?

To be honest i think they should all put up a 'package' price or something like that - im looking for one at the moment and if they have no prices on their website - i'm less bothered ringing them for a quote. You need to have an idea what sort of money they're talking about.

Thanks MIRMIR makes a lot more sense to put prices on the website.....

Any other bride-to-be have experiences of websites not showing prices online?

Ditto. If prices aren't displayed, I'm not going to waste my time enquiring because I assume it's too expensive.

When I was looking I did prefer to see sites that did include a price but then again some had something like "packages start from €750" etc but didnt say what was included in the package

Yes that makes sense....not worth putting starting price from without any further info. Hmm :)

Anyone who didn't have a price on the website, I didn't contact and just moved onto the next one. There are more than enough photographers that I'm not gonna bother with those where I don't know the starting point. It was the same with all our suppliers!
