What are people's thoughts on Canford Cliffs about him being a stallion for Coolmore?
Am I the only one who's sceptical? Breeding doesn't exactly scream stallion material for Coolmore. Anyone know how much they paid and what stake they have in him?

Not sure, I am reliably informed by the missus that there is nothing really in the pedigree, she says Lyphard was a decent sire but after that nothing special. Unless they have noticed potential in his sire.

I remember hearing they paid 2 million for half a share, think it was Sterling.

There had to be more in the deal than just two million. His dam sire Marju is a good sire but his dam line is not the bluest. There's enough there not to label him a freak however. No way of telling until they hit the track and he'll have lots of opportunity.

They bought Paul Roys half share for 2M pounds last autumn according to the web. Marju aint that hot as a stallion. It might be as simpke as sending him to Dubai and if he wins they got their share for free and have a stallion.

That's a very low sum of money if that's true. Doesn't scream stallion price tag.

Great deal if that's true, even allowing for the weak enough page he has. AT that time he was already a dual G1 winner
