    tradesmen.ie

describe the job fully and accurately (inc VAT) and they should ring you with a quote. If they won't quote and discuss to an accurate spec they are obviously cowboys.

Will check that out, but i assumed someone would have to call out to view the job?

My shower is leaking and causing damage to the kitchen ceiling etc and same with my ensuite.

And i was going to get it done via my home insurance etc...

County forum is a bit slower than city forum, this doesn't mean you can re-post county queries in city after 24 hours.
Since it's urgent I don't mind this time. I assume you turned mains off?

Did you know boards has a Plumbing forum?

Google found these, did you try them?

Honestly, no i never checked, i was checking within the area constraints really, keep the jobs local and all that.

And yeah the mains are off.

    Well this never happened.

Anyone else know of any plumbers willing to give a quote and possibly get the work.

Also got no replies from the links provided also.

Do people not want work? I'm baffled.

You could also go to the Homevalue Hardware place on the Galway road and ask there. If a plumber says they are too busy, ask for the name of another one.

Got a contact from Keanes Heating & Plumbing in Loughrea, and this guy is meant to be coming tomorrow, thank god!!

There was meant to be a guy calling on Monday gone at 8pm, but yet again no sign of them.

I was chatting with some mates yesterday and they all said they know of people willing to do foxers but are very slow to put their names on quotes as they are claiming unemployment benefit from the social.

Maybe this is the case here also? The guy who is supposedly calling tomorrow is the 8th plumber that i've contacted!

So to all them other plumbers who never bothered their arse, well then looks like ye missed out on a good pay day.
