    Have a dump or a shower

    On the throne this morning the wife rings

    In the shower and some one rings me about something i'm selling, same time daughter rings twice on mobile and calling on skype.

    Is nowhere sacred?

    There is nothing n the contract that says you have to answer it. There is nothing more redolent of freedom than the sound of a phone plaintively ringing in an empty hall. :)

    Answer the phone and tell them you are dropping of a load but you can talk for a few mins as the turtle has not even showed its head yet.

    Just answer the phone when you're on the sh1tter and make grunting noises. People tend not hot hang on the line and shoot the breeze when you're squeezing out a litter of kittens.

    Yeah, I used to think that too. Until I decided I wanted a stress-free / no bullshit drama day from the hen, only to find out later that day she'd been trying to get hold of me because my grandmother had died. She's too backward to leave a VM or learn how to text.

    It's actually really annoying. I leave mine on silent if I want to be left alone.

    Word of advice....don't ring me on a Sunday, you won't get an answer. Maybe if you text you MIGHT get a response a few hours later!

    As for ringing when on the throne, ring away, I won't be answering, nothing more enjoyable than a big dump :D
