SRAM RED Chainring compatibility

    Quick query.

If I get a set of SRAM Red Chain rings, can I attach these to say a Shimano crank? (Or any crank for that matter). Or is it the case that they must go on a SRAM Crankset.

Also presumably an SRAM BB will only take an SRAM Crank?

I think they will go on any crank with a 130mm BCD. (Check the BCD first though...)

The SRAM Red rings are one of the weaker parts of the groupset. They kind of admitted this by released "Sprinter" Rings, i.e. tougher, stiffer ones.
