Most emotive photograph or film clip you've ever seen?

For me, there's no competition: that priest in Derry waving the white handkerchief as the kid was dying in the hands of the people carrying him as they tried to make it across the street on 30 January 1972.

I don't know who took it, but for sheer power nothing I have ever seen is as evocative. Yes, I know worst things have happened in the world. I'm conscious of that. I'm conscious that the British Prime Minister made a very sincere and contrite apology for Bloody Sunday in the past year.

But still, it's an extraordinarily emotive and evocative photograph.

Other photos which stand out include that Palestinian child strapped to an Israeli jeep as it drove through the West Bank in 2004, or the Buddhist monk Thích Quảng Đức who burned himself to death in 1963 in protest at the persecution of Buddhist monks during the Vietnam war. In live camera, I think Michael O'Brien from Clonmel talking on RTÉ's Questions & Answers in May 2009 about how he was sent to an industrial school and raped numerous times is easily the most gut-wrenching piece of video in my lifetime.

What's the most emotive photograph or piece of film you've ever seen?
