Anybody going to Mondello Classic Car Live this Sunday ?

Open to all classics with MG as the featured make - we are looking to get as many Midgets out there as possible for the 50th Anniversary.

Its €10 in for car and driver, think there's a charge for passengers as well.

    Look here for more info

Yes myself and 73D should be in attendence. Remember apart from the parade laps you wont get on track without your driving license

They are doing hot laps for €50 (not sure how many you get) and theres a draw for fathers day vouchers for a track day as well

Forecast for Sunday not bad at the moment anyway

Your info is almost correct but not quite.

Mondello are offerring Track Day style sessions where you drive your own car as opposed to 'Hot Laps' which is a term usually used for a trip around with someone else driving. These are available for €50 but must be booked in advance and there are rules and regulations regarding participation. These sessions, there are two for which you can book, are twenty minutes long, so its up to you how many laps you get in.

The draw is only open to fathers who are nominted by their children when they come in through the gate and the prize is one of the aforementioned 'Hot Laps' and a Motor Racing School course.

Can't correct you on the weather, you're probably right on that one..

nice to see a quality burger van there instead of the usual "overpriced sh!t in a tray" merchants you get at vintage shows...

Great day - Mondello did a fantastic job.

90-100 MGs there with 33 (MG) Midgets for the Midget 50th.

Not sure how many cars there in total - some really nice stuff I hadn't seen at other shows

Was a good day except for that PA system blowing my head off! All that babbling on was pointless and really took from the enjoyment. It was difficult to have a conversation with anyone. Turn it down!!

Yes, indeed it blew my head off too - not only volume but in content! Capri bloke 'My Dream Car would be an RS3100' announcer 'Ha-ha, What size would that be the then? ha-ha ha-ha' Capri bloke '3100' - not quite verbatim but you get the idea
    :p

I never made it in the end myself. Did the cars all get to go out and do parade laps and did any one get any pics of the classics out on the track if they did?
