I don't know specifically about the course but I know a few people who've gone for free eye tests from the students and even gotten used to contact lenses through them and they're all very happy. If you want to know specifics about the course i suggest you call them up.

I've heard good and bad things about Griffith, they're pretty strict about bringing friends in as far as I know. Security is good though.

Can't tell you anything about the course, but Kevin st. is a bit of depressing sh!thole if i'm being completely honest. The whole building is just a blast from the past compared to the likes of angier st. If your course has all the up to date equipment/facilities for practical work, it's not the worst and it's nice that you're basically in the middle of town but don't expect any cool or fun events to be happening on "campus". However, if your course is small enough and you meet a good group of friends, you can make your own events and nights out.

its a small course only like 20 people in your year, so everybody gets to know each other, and the lecturers are sound and you can chat to them, the only bad thing is in first year you do alot of no optical such as physics chem and bio. There is some practical in first year but not loads, but you still have tons of hours.
