I am not looking for lega l advcie as per the rules bt have a query

What would be the situation regarding neighbours sitting on a fence which is just a couple of feet from my door. I find it a bit in your face but they do nothing only smoke /talk. I think it is ignorant to be in someone face at their door. Does anyone agree?

It is only a small fence in an open plan estate and is just a couple of feet from my door. I presume no one 'owns' it ?

But I am soon putting up a four feet fence which will be attached to it.

I am concerned that if they sit on the small fence and lean against my fence and damage it what happens then? Can i put something uncomfortable to lean against it?

I would apprecite view on this and not legal advice but views as to the situation
