Are there any good ways to just sell my second hand textbooks to other students? I don't want to be losing out on so much money selling them to the SU...

You could try an ad on the noticeboard or even on adverts.ie?

I put up signs around college last year in Semester 1 to get rid of a few Engineering books I had. Worked a charmmmmm.

yeah stick a few notices up for the first month or two of college, preferably close to where you had lectures last year.
