Using iPad 3G in France

    Hi guys, just posting this up in case any of you might have current or first hand information.

    I'm travelling to France for 3 weeks soon and will bring an iPad 3G with me. I have a iPhone4 with tethering enabled here in Ireland.

    As far as I know it I have the option to buy a data roaming add-on to the iPhone4, and use personal hotspot, or, buy a local sim from say Orange with data included and put it in the iPad only.

    Are there any other options I might have missed? and if you have done either of the above how did it work out.

    Many thanks in advance if any of you have thoughts to share.
