Hi about to sell my 00, 318ci, the accelerator pedal on it is ridiculously heavy, has been since i bought it and when i test drove others at the time they were very heavy to, is there anything can be done about this, i.e adjustments made or replace or lubricate cables etc? Id like to get this done before I sell it.

First thing is to establish whether it's actually any heavier than it should be. Older German cars tend to have quite heavy accelerator pedals, particularly compared to Japanese cars. My brother has an A8, and whenever he drives my Forester he gives out about its 'feeling like it has 400bhp while parking'.

yeah seem i driving a 03, 325ci now and when you go back to the 318ci, I feel like I want to kick the accelerator to bits, it really is infuriating and yeah when i first test drove a few 318ci, 3 years ago, all 00 and 01's were the same! :(
