Hi, I'm in my mid 50s, living alone in Kerry. I was in a long term relationship which has just fizzled out gradually.
Are there any groups etc. in mid Kerry for gay girls in my age group, I'm very out of the loop after being in a relationship for about 12 years.
    Many thanks.
    Carole

Hi Carole, I'm not in the Kerry area so I can't help on the information you're looking for I'm afraid. Maybe someone else knows what's going on in that area and can steer you in the right direction.
Your post just struck a chord with me on how isolated one can feel out in the sticks especially after a long term relationship ends. Been there, done that, still in recovery!
I hope you find what you're looking for. Best of luck. :)

    Hi, Carole,

I'm sorry about the loss of your relationship: 12 years is a long time.

I'm not living in Kerry, either, but there is a site, Running Amach, specifically for LBT women and was established because of the sense of isolation so many women feel - even in a city! The group has a wide geographical spread - though not sure there's anyone from the SW of the country! Hope you can hook up with some folk, soon!

Hey Gymgirl, your email address will most likely be taken down so check out the sites above. And stick around, we usually have meet ups in and around Dublin.
