Repeating First Year Arts Fees

If I failed two of my four First Year Arts subjects in August, can I repeat the year only doing those two subjects? For example, if I did History, Geography, German and Italian and failed German and History, could I repeat the year only doing those two subjects and nothing else before continuing on to second year with two subjects?
Repeating Arts fees are paid for by subject, so would I just have to pay for those two subjects?

    Thanks.

Yup you can. In fact you would only have to repeat the modules that you had failed and not the entire subject.

Just an FYI Arts goes by modules not subjects so you pay for every module you have to repeat.

If you failed all your modules then you would have to repeat all of those (assuming you want to progress)

The fees schedule for 2010/2011 can be found here

    http://www.ucc.ie/en/financeoffice/fees/FeesSchedule20102011/

This isn't the fees schedule for 2011/2012 but if you ring the fees office they should be able to give you some idea of what the cost will be.You can call them on 021 490 2678.

^ I asked the fees office last week and I think it was over €6000.
